What are medium depth peels for?

Chemical peels are an aesthetic technique used to rejuvenate the skin. They aim to refresh the skin by targeting signs of aging, inflammation, scarring and irregular pigmentation.
Medium depth skin peels can effectively treat a range of skin conditions from ageing, scarring presentations (including acne) and pigmentation problems. The treatment is suitable for all ages and skin types after suitable skin preparation is carried out.

What does a medium depth peel involve?

The face will be thoroughly cleansed and prepared, this will be followed with the uniform application of the chemical peeling solution to the face. The peel will be left on the face for a specific amount of time, depending on the type of peel and skin type/condition being treated. The solution will be neutralised and protective products will be placed on the skin.
